Directions to The Ark

From San Francisco:

Take Highway 101 across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Rafael.
Take the CENTRAL SAN RAFAEL exit, going WEST.
This will put you on Third Street which then becomes SIR FRANCIS DRAKE BLVD.
Stay on Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, through San Anselmo, Fairfax, Woodacre,

San Geronimo, Lagunitas, and Samuel Taylor State Park,
until Sir Francis Drake Boulevard deadends at Highway One in Olema.
Turn RIGHT, going north, on Highway One.
Go approximately four miles into the town of Point Reyes Station (See map at bottom of page)
As you come into town, you will see a small green bridge.
Turn LEFT onto Sir Francis Drake Blvd.IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE BRIDGE.

Drive approximately four miles to the town of Inverness.

Turn LEFT on Inverness Way.

Stay left at "Y" intersections.

Highland Way is left hand fork up hill by the tennis court.

Go up Highland Way. There are numerous switchbacks.

Stay to your right. After road narrows, you will pass three more houses,

then a garage on your left. You will then see a water tank on your left,

with a white gate on your right.

THE ARK driveway is marked with a "180" sign on a tree to the left of the driveway.

Pull in to the parking area immediately to your right and follow the path to THE ARK.

From the East Bay

Take 580 WEST over the Richmond/ San Rafael Bridge

Merge onto 101 North, and immediately take the CENTRAL SAN RAFAEL EXIT.

Follow the rest of the directions above

From Novato

Take Novato Blvd. WEST

Drive for about 10 miles, to Petaluma Point Reyes Rd.

Turn LEFT

Continue for about 10 miles until the stop sign next to a bridge covered with graffiti

Turn RIGHT.

Drive for about 5 miles until you arrive at Highway 1.

Turn LEFT.

Go through the town of Point Reyes Station.

At the south end of town, there will be a green bridge. Drive over it.

Immediately after the bridge, turn RIGHT on to Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
